Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what data will be removed.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete:
- Account Information
Your email address, password hash, and account settings
- Connected Instagram Accounts
All linked Instagram accounts and their encrypted access tokens
- Messages and Conversations
All stored messages and conversation history
- Webhook Logs
Any logged webhook events associated with your accounts
Send an Email
Send an email to privacy@simplehq.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
Include Required Information
Please include the following in your email:
- The email address associated with your SimpleHQ account
- Instagram username(s) of connected accounts
- Confirmation that you want all data deleted
Identity Verification
We may ask you to verify your identity by sending the request from the email address associated with your account or by providing additional verification.
Confirmation
Once your data has been deleted, we will send you a confirmation email. This process typically takes up to 30 days.
Irreversible: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use SimpleHQ again.
Instagram Data: This deletion only applies to data stored in SimpleHQ. Messages on Instagram's servers are not affected. Contact Instagram directly for their data.
Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal claims).
Backup Systems: Data in backup systems may take up to 90 days to be fully purged due to backup rotation schedules.
